Create your Market Pitch Pretotype
Catherine Louis, Novice Track
Definitions to get us started:
Pitch: An attempt to promote/sell your idea (Note that this definition does not include "get feedback.")
Pretotype: A test of the initial appeal and actual usage of a potential new product by simulating its core experience with the smallest possible investment of time and money.
We're doing a hands-on workshop that will last just 1 hour. At the end of the session group of 5 or 6 people will have a "pretotype" conveying a great idea for a new mobile application.
Method behind the madness: Agile teams (many times) are formed well after the "project initiation" phase. This hands-on meeting we'll explore creating a new smart phone application from the beginning (market snapshot) through to the creation of initial User Stories and pretotype.
We can guarantee two things:
1) You will have fun.
2) There will be more than a few ideas that we will want to carry forward and develop.
